Hafada piercing is placed on the side of the scrotum where the scrotum connects to the thigh. It is an Arabic rite of passage and was done to prevent the testicles from going back into the body. Scrotum piercing can be placed anywhere on the scrotum.
ADVANTAGES:
Mainly adornment only.
DISADVANTAGES AND CONCERNS:
Due to the location of the piercing it is more prone to migration, and becoming affected and/or infected. No sexual contact without a latex barrier for 6 months.
MAIN HASSLES & HEALING TIME:
The piercing must be cleaned twice daily, can not sleep on your stomach, cross contamination prevention and no swimming. Average healing time is 3-6 months.
